More Than a Year!

Time flies..........it's been just over a year since I started my blog. I can't believe it. I'm going to be 85 really soon then! My Dad is 86. He'll probably stop aging & wait for me to catch up with him!

My company moved to downtown Seattle at the beginning of May. I'm taking the bus to work. They are supplementing most of the fare. It is sooooooooo easy & sooooooooo quick. Perfect timing too with the gas prices going up so high. The last time I bought gas was the first week in May. I still have 1/2 a tank left! Wouldn't that be amazing if I only need to buy gas once every 2 months? We shall see. It is so much fun being downtown. I love it.

I should tell you the goat story. On Monday, when I got off the bus, I could've sworn that I heard some goats. Then I thought, "Ok, I'm tired. There aren't any goats in the Park & Ride. It must be a baby crying." I didn't even turn my head, because I thought I was losing my mind. Then when I turned the corner around the block, I saw my neighbor walking her dog & she said, "Did you see the goats?". "WHAT!!.......I really was hearing goats??". Turns out that they put 250 goats in the ivy at the Park & Ride & a temporary electric fence to keep them in. They say that is cheaper than hiring landscapers to do the trimming!! They were there for 3 days. Gone tonight when I came home. I miss them already. Lacey was having fun trying to get to them, but I had to keep her tight on her leash.

I have been knitting a tank top.......I plan on finishing it before Fall too! :) Also I'm knitting another pair of socks I started a year ago. I made a beaded sachet for a sweet gal at work, it was her birthday. And I will make another one for another gal at work, her birthday is next week. I haven't started yet. Will I finish on time? I will let you know.

What have you been up to?
