A Couple Projects.

I have a friend from Japan, who currently lives in England, here visiting me. She came in Wednesday night. I had Thursday & today off, also this upcoming Monday.........then back to work for 4 days, then a week off. She must think I only knit, as I have been knitting quite a bit since she came. She's asleep on the couch............while I blog..........

I made that Garterlac Dishcloth. Here it is. It was very fun to knit. I also made the Net Market Bag again, this time in the same cotton yarn as the dishcloths. I really like it alot. I will give it to my sister, who frequents a farmer's market in L.A. every weekend. It's stronger than the ones that I knit in the recycled silk, but not as pretty. For shopping, practical is necessary, don't you think? So, now I'm ready to make myself one in the cotton. Here it is. I still don't understand why my pictures are always blurry & not clear. Your blog is better than my blog!! :) But my dog is better than your dog..............no Keneration, it's California Naturals for her!! I hope you remember that commercial. If you don't, then you are WAY too young & it's WAY past your bedtime!

You will never believe what I'm knitting now. I went back to my socks!! The ones called Jaywalker. I started these, last summer?? Or before?? I could read my own blog archives to find out. But I'm actually 3/4 done with sock #1. It was stuck at 1/2 done for a long time! I'm having fun with them now & I really would like to finish the pair! We'll see.............as you know how I am......................

Have a blessed Easter!

Hey, I figured something out!

If you double click on my pictures, they open up in a new window & you CAN see the cables & the colors!!

It's time for bed.........soon. I started the garterlac dishcloth. You can click & get the pattern if you want. I actually had to take it apart twice. Now I'm thinking I would've written the pattern a bit different, that is if it were my pattern & I was writing it! It was confusing to follow.

We had an Iranian catered dinner at church tonight. DELISH!! Turns out we rent out a space for them to have their church meeting. The Iranian pastor spoke tonight. Their worship team also played. They were alot of fun. Great music.

To: Kathy N....I finished....ALL today!!!

Well, it did not take me 3 weeks to put my afghan together!! I did it all today! It took a long time, but it was very easy. Having a knit stitch at the edges made it so easy to weave together. I wish I knew that before, I would've done my sweaters differently. My next sweater will be alot easier to weave together, because I will put a garter stitch on each side.

Well, my pictures never come out very good. All you bloggers take such good pictures. You can barely see my cables, nor can you see the colors very well. The good news it that I LOVE this!! And the size is perfect! It is as long as I am so it covers me great. And if I want to wrap it around my shoulders & torso while I am sitting, it goes around perfectly.

Yahoo!! Now.........next project!!
